Much of my career has been spent either teaching in both the state and independent sectors across the UK, or working as a specialist tutor for undergraduates and post-graduates in France. A fluent French speaker, I moved to France in 2006 and lived there for 9 years, before returning to settle in England.
During my 20 years outside of educational teaching, I
designed and developed bespoke training programmes for corporate IT companies, in order to help their employees learn new skills that could be tailored to their specific individual needs.
After much encouragement from my family and friends, I
finally took the leap to set up my own coaching business in 2021. I now live in Cheltenham with my two dogs, Strudel and Margaux, who act as great ice breakers for any new students who come through the door!
Every student young or old needs to have a learning experience that is about them and tailored to them.
My approach puts the student at the heart of this experience, moving them away from passive sitting and listening and instead placing them into a dynamic environment that encourages active
engagement and interaction. This way of working means that students learn to feel involved in working towards solutions, which in turn helps them to develop a belief in their own ability to overcome
challenges.
Every student who works with me receives a bespoke coaching plan and a tailored set of objectives that sets out our working
relationship and what we plan to achieve together. The ultimate goal is not only to provide short-term success and competence, but also to deliver life long skills of confidence, resilience and self-belief. All of my coaching is done in a calm, distraction-free space where rapport, trust and communication underpin everything we do.
